Goodyear unveils first electric vehicle tire for regional work vehicles

Described as the company’s best regional drive tire for energy efficiency, the RangeMax RSDEV has been designed to handle the higher load capacities associated with EVs while providing lower rolling resistance than similar tires.

Goodyear has designed the tire using its Treadlock technology to ensure it benefits from even wear characteristics to deliver more miles before the end of its service life.

Additional features include a robust casing construction for enhanced durability and an enhanced tread pattern to deal with high-torque scenarios. The RangeMax RSDEV is also Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake and Mud and Snow certified, designating a high level of performance in winter driving conditions.

The RangeMax RSDEV is Goodyear’s first regional drive tire to be embossed with the company’s Electric Drive Ready designation. It is available in size 295/75R22.5.
