Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) is participating in the 40th running of the Tire Rack One Lap of America endurance event this month, as part of the celebration of its iconic Potenza tire line’s 45th anniversary.
Two teams from Bridgestone – Team Potenza Race and Team Potenza RE-71RS – are competing in the eight-day, 3,500-mile journey across 15 states, which is being held on May 4-11, 2024.
Team Potenza Race is led by professional race car driver Christina Nielsen with support from Cara Krstolic, executive director of race tire engineering and production at Bridgestone Americas. Nielsen, a champion of the IMSA Endurance Championship, is piloting a 2024 Acura Integra Type S equipped with Bridgestone Potenza Race tires.
Team Potenza RE-71RS consists of Todd Chapman and automotive influencer Dustin Williams, who are competing in a 2024 Honda Civic Type R fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires.
The Bridgestone Potenza Race tire is designed for track-driving enthusiasts and delivers strong performance on dry pavement and “outstanding track longevity”, Bridgestone says. The Potenza RE-71RS tire, launched in April 2022, is engineered for grassroots racing and provides precision performance and extended wear life.

“One Lap of America offers a thrilling platform to celebrate and showcase our high-performance Potenza line-up’s enduring legacy of performance and reliability.
